Gay Pride Sitges 2010 – Dates Announced

SItges, Barcelona, Spain – Thursday 25th June 2009

NOTE DATES EXTENDED – TO TUE 13th JULY

Today, AFGAL Sitges, The Association for Gays and Lesbians in Sitges formally announced the dates for Gay Pride Sitges 2010.
The event will take place on the second weekend of July from the Friday the 9th to Sunday the 11th, with the main parade taking place through the streets of Sitges on Saturday the 10th of July.

General Meeting – Tuesday 16th June

A general meeting of all members and interested members of AFGAL will take place at Ma Maison Restaurant on Tuesday 16th of June at 5pm.

Members will be updated as to the status of AFGAL’s participation in the 2009 Barcelona Pride Parade as well as updates on the details of the Pride for Sitges in 2010.

AFGAL Sitges Committee Appoints President

At a meeting held in Sitges last night the AFGAL Sitges committee appointed Luis Enriquez of Parrots to the position of President. Romke Kramer was appointed to the position of Vice President. Fabio Sacchetti was appointed as committee Treasurer.
The committee is made up of the following members:

AFGAL – Call for Volunteers for Sitges Gay Pride 2010

AFGAL sitges is currently seeking volunteers for the organisation of Sitges Gay Pride 2010. We are seeking help in everything, from costume design to security, first aid to stewards. Your help is needed to make Sitges Gay Pride an event to remember.

AFGAL Sitges is pleased to announce that they will be participating at Pride Barcelona 2009.

A huge pride parade takes place on the 28th of June 2009 through the streets of Barcelona and this offers us a wonderful opportunity to promote the launch of Sitges Pride 2010.
